Man City 3-3 Feyenoord: Player ratings as Cityzens collapse in stunning fashion

City started strong and had to wait until late in the first half to open the scoring with an Erling Haaland penalty, before Ilkay Gundogan’s deflected effort put even more distance between the two sides early in the second half.

Haaland tapped home a third almost immediately after the restart, seemingly ending any fear of a possible comeback, only for the most spectacular of collapses to gift Feyenoord a route back into the game.

Anis Hadj Moussa pounced on a poor pass from Josko Gvardiol to round Ederson with 15 minutes to go, before more underwhelming defending allowed Santiago Gimenez to tap home from close range. In the dying embers, David Hancko headed home on the counter to snatch the unlikeliest of points.

City now sit on eight points from five games and are lost in mid-table obscurity. They are five points adrift of top spot and could see that gap grow to seven if Liverpool are successful against Real Madrid on Wednesday.
